February 2009 at Notre Dame University, Fremantle

Dale Neill and Nick Melidonis, in collaboration with UWA Extension, the City of Fremantle, Team Digital, Camera Electronics and WA Camera Clubs presented a fascinating line-up of photographic talent for Light Fantastic 2009, including Lonely Planet Images’ Richard I’Anson, Kevin Lucas from Aussies in Action, fine-art photographer Louise Mann and exciting new nature photographer Denis Glennon.

Eight West Australians delighted with their passion for photography in images and stories with the ever-popular ‘Travellers’ Tales’. Equipment specialists Team Digital and Camera Electronics presented the very latest in cameras, lenses and accessories and answered technical queries.

Nick and Dale are two of Australia’s leading photo-educators and they shared their latest ideas, images and secrets on producing stunning portraits and landscapes. Running side-by-side with the Expo were the Photographic Competition and Awards (download the pdfs), only open to Light Fantastic participants.

Our top speakers and special guests challenged and inspired participants to make Light Fantastic THE photographic event of the year.
