Photoshop Elements Unleashed

Photoshop Elements Unleashed
Tues/Wed nights 5th and 6th Oct 2010, 6.30 pm-9.30 pm
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR DIGITAL ENHANCING
Adobe Photoshop Elements is probably the most popular entry level image enhancing and editing software today. Often referred to as ‘Photoshop Junior’, it contains many of the essential ‘elements’ of Photoshop, hence its name. Although Photoshop has many additional features and is regarded as the industry standard for imaging professionals, Elements is a powerful editing and creative program in its own right. For enthusiasts who want to have some fun with the option of getting more serious about their digital photography with Photoshop later, they will find the whole family can accomplish excellent image creating and editing tasks.
This 6 hour workshop will provide practical guidance in the essential Photoshop Elements skills and techniques to enable you to create, manage and enhance digital files.
A CD containing a number of my better images will be provided so that each participant can personally use them to follow the individual steps I take, to produce great images.
Suitable For
The workshop is suited for photographers having a modest or no working knowledge of image enhancing software and are keen to ‘start from scratch’ with a proven and popular entry level digital software. A working understanding of basic computer skills is desirable for this workshop.

Participants will need their personal laptop computer (a limited numbr of spare laptops are available on request), loaded with a recent (Elements 6,7 or 8) version of Adobe Photoshop Elements or a trial version.
