Make sure the time and resources you spend on travel are reflected in satisfying high impact photography that you can use for fun or profit. Learn how to capture great travel shots whether recording your personal journeys or illustrating your travel writing. In a fun and informative way, you will be shown how to capture landscapes and people creatively using available light. Theory, practice and review sessions cover tips on travel, experimenting with exposure, composition and much more. This course is suitable for both film and digital cameras. Practical session held in vibrant Fremantle.
Requirements
- Own transport to Fremantle on the Sunday.
- Digital or film camera.

- Exposure methods and when to use them
- Creative techniques using your camera controls
- Types of film or digital alternatives
- Auto, semi-auto and manual modes
- Shooting landscapes and people

Notes for Participants
If you have a digital camera, you can provide some jpeg images for feedback on review night. If you have a film camera, an option is to use slide film (if your camera has manual mode available – you will be shown how to use manual mode during the course) or print film if you have a point-and-shoot with auto mode only.
It is suggested you bring along a 36exposure 100 or 200 ISO film for film cameras.
